A Commitment to Positive, Practical Governance
If elected as a Councillor for Drummond Ward 1, I realize I will have a lot to learn about how the business of Drummond North Elmsley operates. I look forward to the possibility of this opportunity and have undertaken to make positive, common-sense contributions.
The current Council and the management/staff team are to be commended for a job well done. My goal is to build on that strong foundation — not to disrupt it.
Platform Priorities
Fiscal Responsibility
Maintaining realistic budgets and a disciplined financial plan are not just good business practice — they are a responsibility to taxpayers. I will bring the same low-debt mentality that guided my business career to every financial decision at the Township level. Taxpayers deserve a Council that spends wisely and accounts for every dollar.
Support for Small Business
Although big business is important, small business is the engine that drives the economy. It is very important that we support small businesses in every way possible. We need small businesses to succeed in order to maintain a viable and prosperous community. I will advocate for policies and processes that make it easier — not harder — for small businesses to operate and grow in Drummond/North Elmsley.
Transparent, Accountable Representation
"Say What You Mean and Mean What You Say" is not just a campaign motto — it is how I intend to govern. Constituents deserve a Councillor who communicates clearly, follows through on commitments, and is accessible. I will use personal contact and open communication to stay connected with the people of Drummond North Elmsley Township

Drummond North Elmsley Township has a lot to offer. It is safe, affordable, taxes are reasonable, and there is a good selection of schools, health-care options, and recreational facilities all within close proximity. I will work to protect and enhance these qualities — making the Township an even more attractive place to buy a home, build a home, or invest in a business.
Respectful, Collaborative Council
People work well together in this Township and deliver exceptional customer service. I will contribute to that culture of collaboration and mutual respect — bringing my experience in team leadership and organizational development to the Council table, while remaining humble about what I have yet to learn.

I would be remiss if I did not recognize Steve Fournier, who is retiring as Reeve after many years of loyal and dedicated service. Steve is a sound thinker and has been a great leader. Thank you, Steve, for your valued service.
